“Some good things never last” this is one of the phrases we heard in a song. Sad but somewhat true. Let me share with you the love story of a very good friend. I’ve known this friend almost two years ago though I already heard her name from my sis-in-law before back home. We can hide this friends name as “Sam” and his boyfriends name “Alex”
If I am not mistaken, they’ve been together as BF/GF relationship for almost five years now. My friend loves Alex so much that she is willing to give up her career for the sake of the relationship. They’re planning to get married actually. A marriage proposal has been done, some of the family were already informed and their close friends. When all of a sudden those plans broke into pieces. Well, I can’t blame any of them for the break up. Both of them maybe had their own mistakes; they both have reasons. Though I could also feel the pain that Sam gone through but what can a friend do when it comes to this situation, we can only give words of comfort and listening ears to listen in. They’re miles apart from each other. Maybe distance really does matter. Things happened for a reason.
I do hope that my friend could move on, stand up from where she fell and that someday she could do the best thing for her life with the help of GOD. God will always replace or filled in the missing part of your life. When God took something from us that’s because HE wants the BEST things for us. May God bless us all and fill us with his love everyday of our lives.
“At anytime, God could take us off of this earth, so you should appreciate today and not worry about tomorrow, for nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. “
Actually, I got this phrase online through GOOGLE Search a month or two back and saved it on my flash drive. WALA LANG, I’d just realized that almost everyday of our lives we are concern of what will going to happen tomorrow with our work, etc. We always forgot to appreciate the good things that God has been given to us. We always look on the dark side. Sometimes we even forgot to thanks God for the blessings that we received each day. Maybe, this is normal because we are humans. But sometimes we should also learn to appreciate and thank God because we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Yep, it’s true in a just a split of second He could take us off of this earth.
The reality in life is that you cannot make everybody to be happy. There are people who doesn’t like you: your officemates, your boss or anyone who you’ve met along the way. They might not tell you that they don’t like you but the feeling of awkwardness is there. In different ways or actions from that person you can merely tell that this person doesn’t like you at all. But still you always have that will to make that what we called “PAKIKISAMA”. Anyway, we were not born to satisfy everybody. At least you’ve tried to fit with them. Maybe, all we can do is to treat them professionally.
